Benjamin Picard Retires from the Lords

In a shock announcement Benjamin Picard decided to retire from the House of Lords on new years day. In a statement on New Years Day,  Sir Benjamin Picard wrote "I decided today that I will be retiring from the House of Lords to Progress my career. " 

This happened as he became the President of the Malusian Republic of Hamptonboro, and the Nationalist Party began its 'Malusian Community Rebuild Project,' which aims to draft new people into Malus, and make it active again. 

Benjamin went on to say he plans to become a journalist in Versmark, and report on stories. This marks a progression in his career in the nation. Martin replaced Benjamin after his retirement.
