In the early hours of September 18, 2025, Henry G, the leader of the Malusian Soviet and the Trade League of Long Island, a Malusian Party, took to the government announcement channel of the Malusian Discord Server.
He proclaimed, "Due to a majority of the Soviet and other Malusian bodies of Government, there will be a temporary transfer of power to the Soviet of Malus from the president. This will last until the Soviet as a whole has created a new constitution and the government is no longer in a crippled capacity. At this very moment, @Tizian will no longer be head of state and will lose his office of President. Malus shall have much brighter days ahead."
This comes after a period of inactivity from President Tizian, who was elected president on August 12, 2025. Paul M. and Henry G., as well as the rest of the Malusian Soviet, have now taken over collective control of the executive branch of Malus. This, though not an ordinary event, is not considered unconstitutional. The current constitution, passed by former President Benjamin of Malus, allows the Soviet to impeach a president for inactivity. Though out of the six presidents to serve under this new constitution, Tizian is the first to be impeached.
In a recent poll taken by Paul M., three respondents said they support rule by committee, while only one respondent said they didn't, implying that most Malusians agree with the recent actions of the Soviet. Henry went on to ask Malusians for ideas for the constitution. As the situation changes over the next few weeks, the Baligan Bulletin will post updates on our website to keep you up to date.
